UNION FAULTS CALL TO STOP BRISTOW’S CONTRACTS

The Air Transport Services Senior Staff Association has decried the call by the National Petroleum Investment Management Services, a unit of the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation, for the termination of Bristow Helicopters’ contracts following the emergency landing of a Bristow-operated Sikorsky S-76C++ helicopter.

NAPIMS is reported to have said that the accident and recent incident calls to question Bristow’s maintenance and inspection programmes, thereby requesting on its joint partners to terminate all Bristow helicopter services contracts.
